In recent weeks, Daisy appears to be warming up to devious Kit’s advances. Although he's proven to be untrustworthy, Daisy was determined to 'move on' after Daniel failed to reciprocate her love declaration, and it seems she's willing to ignore the red flags in order to do so.
Fans have been eager to see Daisy and Daniel reignite their spark for awhile now, and despite her attempts to 'move on', it feels like the reunion is drawing ever closer. Here's all the hints that might be coming soon...
1) MacLeod's round up of 2024
Although Kate Brooks has since stepped into the helm, the MacLeods still oversee the storylines at Coronation Street, and, as reported by Digital Spy last year, former boss Iain MacLeod promised: '[Daisy and Daniel's] buried feelings, they all come back to the surface with a bang or two across the following 12 months'. Could this mean they'll be back together before the year is out?
2) Rob Mallard's description of the Daniel & Bethany relationship
Actors Charlie Jordan and Rob Mallard never shied away from discussing how much they were rooting for Daisy & Daniel to have their happily ever after.
Earlier this year, Rob (who plays Daniel) told Digital Spy that 'Bethany would be a temporary hold for Daniel just now' but that 'ultimately, I do think the history between Daniel and Daisy will have to be resolved and come back to the fore again'.
While perhaps the rebound has ended up being a little longer term than he intended, will Daniel soon admit where his heart really lies?

3) Those moments in late 2023
After their break up in December last year, Daniel and Daisy shared multiple moments of longing throughout the rest of the month.
When he went to visit her a few days after Christmas, it was clear there was something lingering between them. This continued on New Years Eve, with Daisy intending to kiss him at midnight to reignite their relationship.
As fans will remember, this came after Daisy upset Daniel in the pub, leading him to sleep with Bethany that night. Had the pair not had a falling out that evening, they likely would have gotten back together before he saw his ex.
4) The shared moments before Bethany's article was released
Back in late February, things seemed to be looking up. Daisy told co-worker Glenda that she believed that she and Daniel had shared a moment in the Rovers' beer garden.
The pair shared some longing glances, with Daniel informing his ex-fiancée how happy he was for her to be co-owning the pub.
In her conversation with Glenda, Daisy discussed how Ryan and Bethany were rebounds, and what she and Daniel had was 'real'.
Unfortunately, when Bethany's scandalous article about the acid attack came out, she pushed Daniel away, after learning he found out about it and didn't warn her.
5) Daisy going straight to his flat when he was questioned about Lauren's disappearance
The ex-lovers have shared a lot of moments this year, but this one in March particularly stands out.
Though she hadn't spoken to Daniel nor given him the time of day since finding out about the article, as soon as she heard he was being questioned by the police, Daisy wasted no time in heading over to his flat to make sure he was okay.
Daniel asked her to stay for a drink with him, but she declined. If she hadn't, who knows what might have happened. The pair seem to be continuously drawn back to each other, with one always pulling away at the last moment.

6) Daniel worrying about her around Kit
Long before the dodgy copper asked her out, Daniel expressed his concerns. Though he was the one who was threatened by Kit, he didn't want to drag Daisy into it all, worried about putting her in harm's way.
With Kit living in the Rovers at the time, Daniel inevitably ended up opening up to her about all the things he knew about him thus far. Despite the way their relationship broke down, it's been clear time and time again how much they care about each other.
7) Constantly drawn back together
Daisy has had more scenes with Daniel this year than any other character, despite being in another relationship for six months out of the year.
The ex-lovers are constantly put in scenes together, drawn to each other — for example, sharing a hug after Paul died, or Daniel heading straight to her when he found out she’d been dumped. It’s clear they aren’t leaving each others’ orbit anytime soon.
8) They’re still a family
Having been a baby when Sinead died, Daisy is the only mum Bertie has ever really known — he started calling her ‘mummy’ a few years back, without prompting from anyone, and we’ve seen several times this year how important that bond still is.
In recent scenes, Daisy took care of Bertie while Daniel took Bethany to the airport, and it was evident just how important they still are to each other.
9) Remembering the little details
In the same episode previously mentioned, Daniel bought Daisy her favourite flowers to thank her for watching Bertie.
We very intentionally saw that he remembered her favourites, while Ryan didn’t. Similarly, earlier this year, we saw Daisy remember Daniel’s birthday, while Bethany forgot.
Writers have constantly reminded viewers that Daisy and Daniel still know each other better than anyone.

10) Daisy admitting she still loves him
Fans were thrilled when Daisy admitted she was still in love with Daniel.
Unfortunately, he didn’t say it back — but it was quite evident that he was floored by this admission, admitting that he still cared about her too. If Bethany hadn’t taken ill over in Turkey, might have admitted his true feelings after a bit of time to think about?
Daniel was the one who had his heart absolutely shattered when she cheated on him, though the trauma bond was clearly nothing more than shared trauma and Daisy feeling like she owed something to Ryan. Daniel is unlikely to forget the pain, but might he finally forgive her?
11) Bethany’s sepsis & stoma
The lack of chemistry between Daniel and Bethany has been noted by fans on social media time and time again, but the pair have stayed together despite their constant clashing.
Daniel is the kind of person who will always do the honourable thing, sticking by her side out of guilt and obligation certainly wouldn’t be out of character for him.
Despite staying with her, we’ve seen how much he relies on Daisy — taking the clothes to her for safe keeping, for example. Is she the thing holding him back?
12) Kit being the person Daisy is getting close to
There are a few reasons Kit might have been chosen for this — his treatment of women may inevitably remind her of trauma caused by Justin, she was the perfect character to blab after pressing him for Joel related information…and Daniel knows what he’s capable of.
Daniel saw the videos of Kit getting involved with the dodgy t-shirt business, and was made aware of him forcing Beth to leave town. He also happens to be the person who cornered Kit regarding the planted hair, and was threatened when he asked him about it.
Out of everyone on the street, Daniel knows the most about Kit’s dodgy dealings — could it really be a coincidence that he’s now getting close to his ex-fiancée? It seems like everything is slowly falling into place for Daniel to become jealous and concerned…
It feels like it's only a matter of time before Bethany pushing Daniel away, Kit drawing close to Daisy, or a combination of the two, push them back together.
