With Coronation Street's festive storylines including a love affair between ex-fiancées Daisy Midgeley and Daniel Osbourne, fans have been wondering how the pair are going to be drawn closer together.
The drama looks set to explode in a big way, as Daniel proposes to Bethany at Christmas, with the love triangle continuing well into January.
Tonight aired the first big twist in the tale, with a drunk and defeated Daniel stealing Debbie Webster's car.

After the businesswoman almost ran his son over, the pair argued in the street. Later, after an argument with Bethany, Daniel began drinking, eventually stealing the car, and crashing it, all while under the influence.
Daisy, due to her feelings for him, chose to cover this up, ensuring no trace of him would be found in the car.
With Shona's arm getting broken in the process, it's unclear as to which of the ex-lovers ran her over, but when DC Kit Green looked at the footage, he only saw Daisy driving the car.
Though Daisy currently despises Kit, it looks like they're to get cosy again next week — could he be blackmailing her? Or might she be getting close to him, to ensure he doesn't spill the truth?

In tonight's episode, after agreeing they wouldn't tell a soul about what happened, Daisy and Daniel met in a ginnel to discuss what had happened, with the duo thinking that Kit believed the car was stolen by joyriders.
With a lot left to come in this storyline, there'll undoubtedly be more twists and turns along the way. However, covering up this crime together will undoubtedly push Daisy and Daniel closer to each other.
Could it be guilt, and a desire to cover up each others' involvement, that leads to Daniel proposing, and Daisy cosying up to Kit? Only time will tell...
