Coronation Street fans have been treated to an early Christmas present today — a Platt-filled Christmas trailer has dropped!
The trailer shows Gail and Jesse announcing they've decided they'll get married on Christmas Day, followed by a look at all of the drama currently surrounding the iconic Corrie family.
We see David's stolen cash coming back to haunt him, Leanne decided to defraud the Bistro to take Nick down, Shona trying to hide her extramarital affair, and Audrey informing her daughter that, if she marries Jesse, she won't speak to her again.
Although not featured in the trailer, Bethany and Sarah are still dealing with the repercussions of Bethany's botched surgery, and subsequent sepsis and lifelong stoma bag.
Daniel is set to propose on Christmas Day, though as further drama unfolds between the teacher and ex-fiancée Daisy, what are the chances of that going smoothly?
With Gail set to depart on Christmas Day, a big fire confirmed at the Platt house in the year, and Lucy Fallon's maternity leave meaning Bethany will be taking a break from our screens from late January/early February, it's definitely going to be a drama-filled few months for the family.
