The topic of Lisa Swain's cat on Coronation Street is something that has long baffled fans ever since Betsy mentioned it during a conversation with Carla.
But, just where is that cat? Because it's clear Lisa's not doing the best job at looking after it... That's if it exists at all.
Lisa Swain's cat on Coronation Street
Months ago on the cobbles, Betsy wasn't best pleased with her mum and started ranting about her to Carla at the factory.
She admitted that Lisa cared more about the cat than her own daughter. Carla told her that that surely wasn't true and that she should cut her mum some slack.
This revelation sent many fans wild as they struggled to imagine Lisa Swain owning a pet cat... and looking after it.
After all, she's never at home and always seems to be at the police station. And, we can't see Betsy being a responsible pet owner either...
Since this comment, no cat has been seen or mentioned again. And, we've even been given a glimpse into the Swains' family home, with no traces of a feline companion in sight.
Where is Lisa Swain's cat?
This evening on Corrie, Lisa and Betsy temporarily moved into Carla's flat for the New Year due to burst pipes at their flat.
Moving some boxes and suitcases in, there was no sign of any cat. This has led us to wonder just what happened to the cat. Is someone else looking after it? Did it drown after the pipes burst? Or, perhaps it didn't actually exist at all...

@_chandelierbing said: "Spent the entire episode wondering where the Swains' cat is, despite knowing full well that Betsy probably sold it on Facebook Marketplace out of spite during an argument with Lisa."
@thatsmypeachx also wondered: "Lisa's cat just vibing at home then yeah,?"
But, is there a cat? Is there not? We just want answers!
