Coronation Street spoilers: Alya Returns!

A familiar face is returning to Weatherfield this week, as Alya Nazir makes her return.

The legal secretary left for Dublin back in May, to facilitate actress Sair Khan's maternity leave. She left to pursue further work training, after sharing a passionate moment with boss Adam Barlow...so what's next for the potential love birds?

In Alya's absence, Stu has since left for Germany, leaving her gran, Yasmeen, behind and of course, best friend Dee-Dee has been embroiled in drama with Joel. Given Dee-Dee's recent pregnancy shock, Alya's return couldn't have come at a better time!

This week, we see Alya return as part of the plot with Mason's brothers, providing legal representation to Carla's potential attacker, Matty Radcliffe.

Sparks also fly once more for Alya and Adam, as her return prompts Adam to ask her out for dinner. Will she accept? Could this be the beginning of a new relationship?

Of course, the Nazirs live right next door to the Platts, the family of Adam's ex-wife, Sarah...and this is Coronation Street, so there's little chance that their romance will be all plain sailing...
