Back in September, fraudster Rowan was finally arrested for blackmail and fraud. This week, we see him take the stand, with Leanne set to give evidence against him.
Considering The Institute managed to turn her entire life upside down, it's not really surprising that she snaps under the pressure, and loses her cool on the stand...but will she inadvertently let Rowan get away with it?
Earlier this year, Leanne found herself pulled into the cult, using it as a way to deal with her past grief and traumas. Through this, she alienated herself from her family, culminating in losing Nick to her sister, Toyah.

As her life has been turned upside down, she's hoping to get Rowan sent down for all of his dodgy dealings, especially as he got his hands on former stepdaughter Amy's inheritance money.
Will he get sent down, allowing Leanne to put the Institute behind her, and try to rebuild her life? Or will he get away with it?
A verdict soon follows...
This comes as Metro reported a revenge storyline starting over the Christmas period, with new producer Kate Brooks stating that '[Leanne] really wants to make them pay and is intent on getting her own revenge.'
