It's been a huge week for Swarla on Coronation Street, filled with angst, jealous and romance.
Things have definietly escalated after not seeing the couple on our screens for a couple of weeks since they decided to give things a go with their relationship. Here's everything that went on this week.

A spa trip to remember
Carla and Lisa headed to the Chariot Square Hotel for a spa day together. When booking onto a couples' massage, Debbie wrongly assumed that they were friends. Carla failed to correct Debbie...
Back in the hotel room after their facials, Lisa confronted Carla over this and how hurt she felt. Carla then assured her that she just didn't want Debbie making their relationship gossip as it meant more to her than that.
Back in Lisa's good books, Carla then started to give Lisa a massage herself, with lots of neck kisses. She then made plans to have Lisa and Betsy over on Christmas Day... although she wouldn't be cooking a roast so takeaway pizza would have to do.

Jealousy from Lisa
Later in the week, Lisa heard that Carla was meeting a handsome client for lunch at the Bistro. She then sat on a nearby table and watched the client flirt with her girlfriend.
When Carla went off to take a phone call, Lisa slid into the booth and had words. She even threatened to report the client for sexual harrasment. Carla then saw Lisa interfering and made her anger known.
The client was actually happily married to a man. Lisa tried to apologise but Carla felt as though Lisa was being possessive, starting to have doubts.
In the flat, Lisa then explained that she felt as though Carla was giving her mixed messages. She reckoned she was in denial about her sexuality.
The tables then turned as it was Carla who then asked Lisa for forgiveness, admitting that she'd been holding back as it was a lot to get her head around.
Going forward, she promised that she'd be 'out and proud.' And then... a tickle on the sofa resolved all of their differences.

Coronation Street Swarla: Out in the open
With a power cut at the factory, all the factory staff went home (or to the pub) whilst Lisa and Carla shared a drink in the dark office.
They then headed back to the flat for a little private moment in the bedroom but Lisa got a right shock when she entered the kitchen in her dressing gown and was met by Fiz, Kirk and Bobby.
Realising what was going on, Fiz and Bobby (and a baffled Kirk) quickly scarpered. Lisa and Carla then chuckled about the moment on the sofa, whilst nibbling on some chocolate truffles (YUM!)
Later on, they both then turned up at Sally's house to come to the rescue of a very drunk Betsy who had taken some gin from the factory. Bundling Betsy into a taxi, Carla then turned to Lisa and kissed her in public.
Sally witnessed the romantic moment was then rushed to tell her fellow factory workers what she saw, making this the perfect opportunity to boast about being a huge LGBTQ+ ally.
