Coronation Street Spoilers: Festive Affair Unfolds

Updated: Nov 26

It looks as if Daisy and Daniel fans are finally getting the gift they've hoped for this Christmas, though the wrapping on this one might be a little messy.

Rewind to December 2022, and the love birds found themselves in quite a solid place. While Daisy's cancer scare left the duo on shaky ground, they inevitably wound up stronger because of those fears, and ended up engaged on Christmas Day.

The year that followed was complicated. When Daisy found herself with a stalker (Justin Rutherford, played by the brilliant Andrew Still), things slowly fell apart.

This all culminated, of course, in an acid attack on what was meant to be their wedding day, and unfortunately for fans, a traumatised Daisy leant into the trauma bond with Ryan, eventually cheating on a heartbroken Daniel.

Since their breakup last year, fans of the opposites-attract-lovers have been hoping to see them reunite. While Daniel has understandably shown reluctance, due to the fear of getting his heart broken again, Daisy's feelings have been made clear.

Now, as confirmed by Metro.co.uk, it's looking like the love triangle is set to explode again.

After liposuction left Bethany with sepsis, she's been understandably devastated, trying to navigate life with a permanent stoma bag. Daniel has remained loyally by her side, despite Daisy's admission of love back in September.

With Kate Brooks and Metro referring to a 'game-changing development' over the festive period, are the ex-lovers about to give in to temptation?

Brooks stated that 'Daniel is in love with two women', and that this love triangle will playout 'through December and into the new year'.

With Lucy Fallon set to go on maternity leave in the coming weeks, with her baby due in January, is she the one set to get her heart broken this time around?
