Spoilers for tonight's Coronation Street follow...
Just when Dee-Dee Bailey thought things couldn't get any worse, it seems Joel is able to continue ruining her life from beyond the grave. In tonight's episode, the solicitor admitted to Sarah Platt that the pregnancy test she took was positive. She's pregnant with Joel's baby.
As Sarah opened up about the reality of having a baby with someone so monstrous, we take a look Weatherfield's current spawn of villains...
Hope Dobbs (Daughter of John Stape)
Starting with our favourite little fire starter, a list of villainous children wouldn't be complete without this vape loving teen. Hope was born to Fiz and her husband, John Stape, a man with plenty of crimes under his belt.
In his four years on the street, John stole another man's identity, had a sexual relationship with and subsequently kidnapped (twice!) teenager Rosie Webster, and committed murder, before dying in a car accident. With a dad like that, could Hope's devious streak eventually lead her in her father's footsteps?
Harry Platt (Son of Callum Logan)
Though born months after his death, Harry is the son of Sarah Platt and Callum Logan. Callum, who also happens to be Max's father, was Kylie's ex-boyfriend, who became embroiled in a rivalry with the Platts, wanting custody of his son. The drug dealer was violent, abusive and dangerous, and Sarah quickly saw through him.
Things all came to a head when Callum made the fatal mistake of attempting to sexually assault Sarah. In an attempt to save her sister-in-law, Kylie hit him over the head with a wrench, killing him. Some months later, Sarah discovered she'd been pregnant with Callum's baby at the time of his death, and gave birth to Harry.
Ruby Dobbs (Daughter of Kirsty Soames)
Much like her step-sister, Ruby was born to a villainous parent, though this time it was her mother, Kirsty Soames. Having been abused herself, Kirsty continued this cycle with Tyrone, abusing him throughout their relationship. He remained with her, despite her behaviour, and their daughter, Ruby, was born.
Although Kirsty initially tried to claim that Tyrone was the abusive one in the relationship, she eventually confessed, after losing her temper with baby Ruby, worrying that their young daughter wouldn't be safe in her care.
Jake Windass (Son of Gary Windass)
Unlike the other names on this list, both of Jake's parents still live on the street...however, his father is technically a murderer. Born to surrogate Tina McIntyre, due to his mother's health complications, Jake is the child of Izzy Armstrong and Gary Windass.
Although Gary remains in Jake's life, as he's never been convicted of his crimes, he is responsible for the deaths of Rick Neelan and Rana Habeeb.
Glory Bailey (Daughter of Grace Vickers)
Another child who remains in father's care is Glory Bailey, daughter of Michael Bailey and his ex-girlfriend Grace. Though not abusive or murderous like most on this list, Grace did spend three months in prison, after convincing Michael that her friend's child was in fact theirs, and almost getting him arrested for child abduction.
Despite this, Grace ended up pregnant with their daughter, though she wound up blackmailing the Baileys. Not warming to motherhood, she asked for money in exchange for baby Glory, ending up leaving her behind, in exchange for £20,000.
Frankie Bolton (Son of Joel Deering)
Most recently, we have baby Frankie. Fans were shocked earlier this year, when Lauren Bolton returned to the street, pregnant with Joel Deering's baby. Joel had groomed and abused Lauren (and other young girls), and left her for dead. Upon learning of her pregnancy, he tried to force her to miscarry, feeding her an abortion drug, despite her already being in the fifth month of pregnancy.
Thankfully, Frankie survived the ordeal. With Joel now dead, hopefully Lauren and the baby will be able to settle into life without him tormenting them...though, now viewers know Lauren was his killer, will that be possible? And, with Dee-Dee's latest bombshell, will villain Joel Deering soon have two children running around on Coronation Street..?
